The Chestatee Golf Guide is an independent community guide. It is not Chestatee Golf Club, not the Chestatee Community Association and not the developer, and it does not speak for any of them. We write about the community because we think more people should know it, the way a local paper would.

Who publishes it
Gold Peach Realty, a licensed real estate brokerage in North Georgia, publishes this guide. We earn our living helping people buy and sell homes, and we say so on every page. The featured listings on this site are Gold Peach Realty’s own, labelled as such.
How we check facts
- The scorecard, yardages, the course description and the club’s contacts come from the club’s own website. Tax rates, rules, offices and parks come from Dawson County, the Georgia Department of Revenue, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the other bodies that set them. Each is linked where it appears, with the date we checked it.
- Course ratings and slopes are shown as GolfNow lists them, labelled as such; the official figures are in the GHIN app. The Course Handicap arithmetic is the USGA’s formula.
- Where we could not confirm something from a primary source, we leave it out or say so. Drive times are map-measured estimates on OpenStreetMap data, not traffic times.
- We do not publish green fees, dues or price forecasts. Fees belong to the club and the association, and listings show the MLS’s own data on goldpeachrealty.com.

This guide covers the Chestatee golf community and Chestatee Golf Club in Dawsonville, Dawson County, on Lake Lanier. It is not about Chestatee, Georgia, in Forsyth County, or the Chestatee River, schools or library of the same name.
